He was married in Sargent on June 29th, 1897 to Janie Atholonia Brown (born 3/18/1880). He Died on February 24, 1968 in Houston Missouri; Both He and Janie (Died 11/1/1964) are buried at Sargent Cemetery near Cabool, Missouri. They had nine Children.

His Children, Nina and Katie Are in the Willow Care Nursing home in Willow Springs. Zella is in the Cabool Nursing Home. Lloyd lives at home in Cabool. Floyd lives in Mountain Grove and Warren in the Senior High Rise in Cabool. Their minds are all still good, their bodies are just wearing out!
He was a farmer and lived in the Mount Pisgah area most of his Life. His and Janie’s descendants have a reunion once a year in September to celebrate their life!
