Died five miles west of Licking, Texas county, Mo., Dec. 3rd, 1899, at 9 o'clock a.m., Mrs. Martha, wife of William Hamilton Lawson, aged 58 years, 11 months, and 17 days.

April 25th, 1861 she was married at Edgar Springs, to W.H. Lawson and unto them were born nine children, five of whom survive her.

On Tuesday her remains were brought to Spring Creek and interred by the side of her two children, after service by the writer. J.J. Watts
